I'm sitting in the van in the parking lot of a Bass Pro Shop in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Slept here last night.

I've been driving the past couple of days...

Quick Travel Recap Videos

While I haven't written any blog posts, I did make some little animations chronicling my journey from Jackson, Mississippi to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a Christmas gathering.

Day One

I made that in bed and was pretty sleepy as I recorded the voiceover.

But the main thing is that I found a way I can chronicle my drives.

That's something I've been trying to figure out for a long time.

Day Two

Here's one from yesterday:

Day Three

So now I've got a little system for that.

Today's Podcasts

We all have to parent ourselves.

She says, "parent to make yourself irrelevant."

The woman in this podcast is 48 years old and a massive Taylor Swift fan. She's very articulate and it was interesting to hear her explain the TS phenomenon.

Songs

I've been listening to Spotify's new "DJ" feature.

They've got an AI voice guy with an AI playlist for you.

There's been some good stuff.

Next Steps

I've been doing a lot of thinking about how I want to use this blog.

I want to feel as free as possible to chronicle whatever's going on in my mind.

I need to be able to post quickly.

Getting too precious about it and trying to get it perfect would prevent anything from happening.

So I'm just going to remove that barrier, try to have fun with it, and post whatever I'm inspired to post.

Because of that, I don't see it being like a traditional blog.

If I have a thought about something, I'll post it, and then if I have more thoughts on that subject down the road, I'll go back and add to the post.

That's all for now.

Time to get on the road!
